This wine is a deep ruby red with edges fading. Aromatics of black current, ripe plum, leather and coco powder will continue to develop as this wine bottle ages. Moderate to firm tannins give this wine a beautiful mouthfeel with lingering finish.
Pairing Recommendation: Pair with aged Texas beef on the grill or wild game.
Production Notes: The grapes were hand harvested in August of 2015, a wetter than normal year in central Texas. Each variety was fermented on its own in small lot's, then blended together prior to secondary fermentation and aging in French oak for 14 months.
