We have enjoyed learning the history of Brown County. We have tried to reference Texas history in the naming of some of our wines. We thought it was important to add a name with local impact. Welcome Chandler, credited as the first settler in Brown County was also a farmer, county judge, postmaster, and store owner. Our goal with our tasting room has always been to create a welcoming place, so the name Welcome White seemed very appropriate.
